Went for a meal with the fellas mum and dad as we missed them over Christmas. Service was on point! She was a new girl and very bubbly and chatty, made us feel very welcome. Orders were taken, and food came within half an hour, though we weren't really keeping an eye on the time. Everything was served well presented, and it all looked fab. Food was hot and tasty and we all enjoyed our meals. Only 2 negatives.... The desserts we ordered, 2 crumbles, weren't very hot, unfortunately. Why were there portable fan heaters everywhere? The pub was warm and cosy with an open fire blazing in the main dining area, so they seemed unnecessary. Other than those things, we can not fault the Badgers Sett and definitely recommend for families and friends to meet for casual but tasty dining!

As always badgers sett is superb. Perfect setting for a family meal on NYE with a teenager for something abit more special. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks so much Emily and staff. The singer was brilliant and my daughter was thrilled by all her choices of songs. Food was just 👌 I even changed my main choice after seeing the waitresses walking food around. I won a competition from Instagram. Thank you so much for picking me and still honouring it on nye. So thankful. Happy new year all! 🎉🎉

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good menu choice. Food was hot fresh & tasty. Service was a little slow but we didn’t mind , if you were in a hurry could be a little annoying. Our waitress was very polite, bubbly & helpful. Would eat here again & recommend to others.

We had such a great experience at The Badgers Sett, from the welcome, to the atmosphere and the quality of food as well. The quality of the food was immaculate, and was so tasty! We even tried to get the beetroot hummus recipe as it was so good! Our mains were amazing, we had the Sunday trio and the pork belly, and would highly recommend either of these! Special shout out to our server Chloe, she was so bubbly and friendly, checked on us to make sure everything was okay, and even came to let us know our dishes were coming out next as there was a little bit of a wait (which was no problem as we could see it was busy!) We will definitely be back in January to take advantage of their new year offer, thank you for a lovely Sunday afternoon!

We had a really good visit to The Badgers Sett today for a festive family meal. Good choice of dishes, quality ingredients cooked perfectly. Our server Fin was friendly, helpful and attentive. Secondly we were served by Billie who was also friendly, attentive and helpful. Many thanks to all at The Badgers Sett! Definitely revisiting.

Ideal place for a nice dinner with amazing ambience . There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The drinks are pretty decent . The pricing is also pretty good for the service provided.

Nice dog friendly place, tasty food, nice decor but clearly understaffed because dirty, sticky floor and sticky tables. Dishes from the table next to us were not cleared during our entire stay. Waitress very nice and hardworking, one more person would definitely be useful to sort it all out and clean it up.

We were recommended the Badgers Sett by our friend Danny, who works in the kitchen. The food was excellent and our server Maddie was absolutely lovely, she was very attentive with a bright and cheerful personality. We left very happy and very full! Will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommended the place to others!

Booking was easy, staff and surrounding were nice. Food was awful, child pizza was burnt and what was supposed to be fresh carrot sticks were curled and dried, looked like the offcuts from the bin, I ordered bacon medallion with salad and again salad was not edible and the bacon was cold and fatty. Not at all worth the money.
